Francis is the founder and chief executive officer of Time Concepts Ghana Limited. He also serves as the country director for AMERI Energy, where he has been instrumental in renegotiating a USD 510 million 250 MW AMERI power deal, a project that played a pivotal role in mitigating Ghana's power crisis, locally known as "Dumsor". He serves on the board of Jins Savings and Loans and Ameri Energy Group in the United Arab Emirates.
In 2018, Mr Kpolu received the Emerging Energy Company of the Year at the Ghana Energy Awards, and in 2017, he was awarded the Professor Pedro Nueno Distinguished Service Award from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). He was named Alumnus of the Year for 2014/2015 by CEIBS. Beyond his contributions to the energy sector, Francis has also demonstrated a commitment to humanitarian causes, including his support for the Ghana Army's peacekeeping missions in South Sudan through the supply of essential equipment, for which he received recognition from the United Nations.
Francis holds an Executive MBA from CEIBS and has undertaken advanced studies at the Harvard Business School and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
David is an investment banker with extensive experience in African capital markets. He is the chief executive officer of Bargane Investment Holding & Advisory Ltd. His work in the private markets covers the setup and structuring of private debt funds and the structuring and delivery of technical assistance programs. In the public markets, he has led several equity and debt capital-raising transactions across financial services, infrastructure, energy, and fast-moving consumer goods. David’s market-building work includes developing markets for exchange-traded funds, green and sustainable bonds, commercial papers, and fixed-income instruments. He consults for the GSE, Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSDA), and British International Investments (BII).
Andrew is the managing director for Tesco West African Shipping. Prior to his role in shipping, Mr. Kwashie spent a decade working with business executives and on-the-ground managers in over 32 countries, directing and overseeing projects that foster security and economic growth for Ghana. His engagements have included weapons inspection in Beijing with military officials and the Deputy Defence Minister, as well as equipment review in Israel for the Ghana Army. He has also led and participated in missions and conferences in the Netherlands, Malaysia, England, Kenya, the U.A.E., France, Morocco, Turkey, and Belgium, among others.
His career spans working with the Royal Bank of Scotland on Fenchurch Street in London, where he evaluated macroeconomic indicators and industry-specific metrics to determine economic impacts over short- and long-term time horizons for the bank. He also worked with global fashion house Prada as a procurement assistant in London and managed a GBP 25 million portfolio and sourcing material from Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia for seasonal production at a minimal cost. He subsequently served as a route coordinator at Transport for London in Central London in 2009.
Andrews studied Economics at De Montfort University in Leicestershire, UK, and he is also currently studying at the EFG Flight School in Biggin Hill, London, to become a pilot.
