Mr Peterson Ekow Afedzie
Former Managing Director of the Ghana Stock Exchange with over three decades of experience in capital markets, he played a key role in the development and modernisation of Ghana’s securities market, contributing to the advancement of energy management solutions within the Ghana energy sector.
Francis Kofi Kpolu
Francis is the founder and chief executive officer of Time Concepts Ghana Limited, a company focused on innovative energy management solutions. He also serves as the country director for AMERI Energy, where he has been instrumental in renegotiating a USD 510 million 250MW AMERI power deal, a project that played a pivotal role in mitigating Ghana's power crisis, locally known as 'Dumsor.' His contributions have significantly impacted the Ghana energy sector, and he also serves on the board of Jins Savings and Loans and Ameri Energy Group in the United Arab Emirates.
In 2018, Mr. Kpolu received the Emerging Energy Company of the Year award at the Ghana Energy Awards, and in 2017, he was honored with the Professor Pedro Nueno Distinguished Service Award from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). Additionally, he was named Alumnus of the Year for 2014/2015 by CEIBS. Beyond his contributions to the energy sector, Francis has demonstrated a commitment to humanitarian causes, including his support for the Ghana Army's peacekeeping missions in South Sudan through the supply of essential equipment, for which he received recognition from the United Nations.
Francis holds an Executive MBA from CEIBS and has undertaken advanced studies at both Harvard Business School and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Andrew Narh Kwashie
Andrew is the managing director for Tesco West African Shipping. Prior to his role in shipping, Mr. Kwashie spent a decade collaborating with business executives and on-the-ground managers across over 32 countries, overseeing projects that support security and promote economic growth, particularly in the Ghana energy sector. His engagements have included weapons inspection in Beijing with military officials and the Deputy Defence Minister, as well as equipment review in Israel for the Ghana Army. He has also led and participated in missions and conferences in the Netherlands, Malaysia, England, Kenya, the U.A.E., France, Morocco, Turkey, and Belgium, among others.
His career includes a position at the Royal Bank of Scotland on Fenchurch Street in London, where he evaluated macroeconomic indicators and industry-specific metrics to assess economic impacts over short- and long-term horizons for the bank. He also worked with global fashion house Prada as a procurement assistant in London, managing a GBP 25 million portfolio while sourcing materials from Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia for seasonal production at minimal cost. In 2009, he furthered his expertise as a route coordinator at Transport for London in Central London.
Andrew studied Economics at De Montfort University in Leicestershire, UK, and is currently enhancing his skillset at the EFG Flight School in Biggin Hill, London, aspiring to become a pilot. Throughout his career, he has consistently championed energy management solutions to optimize resource utilization in various sectors, including the burgeoning energy initiatives within Ghana.

Ms. Nkechi Denise Akunyili
Finance and investment professional with over 20 years of experience, including senior leadership at UBA as Regional Treasurer for its West African operations. Her expertise encompasses treasury and capital risk management, investment banking, portfolio management, project finance, and corporate finance, with a particular focus on the Ghana energy sector and energy management solutions across West Africa.
David Ganesha Tetteh
David is an investment banker with extensive experience in African capital markets, particularly within the Ghana energy sector. He serves as the chief executive officer of Bargane Investment Holding & Advisory Ltd. His work in the private markets involves the setup and structuring of private debt funds, as well as the structuring and delivery of technical assistance programs, including innovative energy management solutions. In the public markets, he has successfully led several equity and debt capital-raising transactions across sectors such as financial services, infrastructure, energy, and fast-moving consumer goods. David’s market-building initiatives encompass developing markets for exchange-traded funds, green and sustainable bonds, commercial papers, and fixed-income instruments. Additionally, he consults for the GSE, Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSDA), and British International Investments (BII).
