Chai Energy PLC is in the business of acquiring, holding, transmitting, and distributing energy assets in Ghana. We identify strategic opportunities in the energy sector, acquire stakes in established energy businesses, and manage those interests to generate sustainable returns for our shareholders.  

Our business model is built on three pillars:

Acquisition

We identify and acquire equity interests in energy companies and infrastructure projects with strong fundamentals, credible management, and long-term growth potential.  

Management

We actively oversee the performance of our portfolio assets, working closely with management teams and co-investors to protect and grow the value of our holdings.  

Distribution

We seek to deliver returns to our shareholders through capital appreciation and, where appropriate, income distributions all governed by the Board's dividend policy and the availability of distributed profits.
